Bei den Kollegen der X-bit Labs findet sich heute ein Preview der Intel V8 Skulltrail Plattform. Als derzeit schnellstes Desktopsystem für Multi-Thread-Anwendungen hat es durchaus auch seine Schwächen. Mangelnde SLI- und Overclocking Fähigkeiten trüben den Gesamteindruck. So bleibt nur, auf das im 3. Quartal erscheinende AMD-System mit dem Phenom zu warten.
